Virginia Squash announces important operations changes related to the Covid-19 situation. Our Virginia State Open Squash Tournament, originally scheduled for April 3rd, has been cancelled. Please go to the tournament site on US Squash for additional details and the refund policy. US Squash will issue a full refund directly to all paid participants in the coming days.
Our Youth programs including River City Community Squash and SquashRocks! have been
suspended. We continue to monitor the situation and will reevaluate the status of youth program operations as community conditions materially change.
Volunteers for all Virginia Squash programs and events should continue checking in with their respective Virginia Squash contacts as usual, and take the recommended steps to prevent illness.

Our decisions are rooted in our prioritizing the health and well being of our community of squash enthusiasts and their families in Richmond and surrounding areas and our belief that we also have a role in supporting the national response to this outbreak. US Squash has made similar announcements and has cancelled all Junior Tournaments and other events through the end of April, as have many other regional squash councils. We also believe this is a time to pull together as a community to support each other and Virginia Squash stands ready to do this for you in any way possible.
